Thank you for joining For the Love of Paper Fest, presented by Paradise Stationery. These terms explain your vendor reservation, participation requirements, and cancellation policy. Please review them before accepting and submitting payment.
For the Love of Paper Fest (the “Event”) is organized and operated by Paradise Stationery LLC, doing business as For the Love of Paper Fest (the “Organizer”). References to “we,” “us,” and “our” in these terms refer to the Organizer.
Last revised: September 16, 2026. This version applies to reservations accepted under it. Changes to previously confirmed reservations require a written agreement between the organizer and vendor as described under Changes to these terms.

Acceptance and payment
Registration is for accepted vendors only. Your acceptance applies to the business and table option identified in your acceptance email.
Payment is due within 48 hours of receiving your acceptance email, unless we approve an extension in writing. Unpaid reservations may be released after that deadline.
Payment and your recorded acceptance of these terms confirm your approved reservation, subject to completing the participation requirements and receiving any required venue approval. If the venue declines your business for reasons unrelated to a violation of this agreement, the organizer cancellation and full refund provisions below apply.
Table options
Regular Vendor Table: $100. Includes one six-foot vendor table within the festival’s designated vendor area.
Premium Vendor Table: $150. Includes one six-foot vendor table, placement among the designated first tables near the main attendee entrance, and additional promotion beyond our standard vendor posts and reels, including highlighting your business in our event freebies.
Premium refers to entrance-area placement and the additional promotional benefits listed above. A specific table number or corner position is included only when expressly confirmed in your acceptance email.
Your acceptance email will confirm your assigned option and any included seating, tablecloths, electricity, and vendor helper access. Additional tables, equipment, or services require written approval. Any additional charges will be disclosed before you agree to them.
Table assignments and changes
The organizer coordinates the final layout with the venue. Specific table assignments may change to accommodate access, safety, and event operations.
If an organizer-initiated change moves your reservation from a $150 Premium Vendor Table to a $100 Regular Vendor Table, we will refund the $50 price difference for each affected table. Your reservation will then be for the Regular table option. The remaining $100 remains subject to the cancellation and refund provisions below.
We will not substitute materially different promised benefits without notifying you. Any agreed adjustment to a separately purchased service or promotional package will be confirmed in writing.
Vendor cancellations and refund exceptions
Vendor fees are nonrefundable if you cancel, withdraw, or do not attend, except for refunds expressly provided in these terms, a separate written agreement, or applicable law. The refund exceptions include a Premium-to-Regular table adjustment, organizer cancellation of a vendor reservation, removal under the participation requirements below, festival cancellation, and qualifying event changes.
Notify us promptly if you can no longer participate by replying to your acceptance email or contacting hello@fortheloveofpaperfest.com. Include your business name and order number.
A vendor cancellation does not automatically transfer your payment to another event or create a future-event credit.
Organizer cancellation of an individual vendor reservation
Before the vendor’s scheduled opening time, the organizer may cancel all or part of an accepted vendor reservation without alleging a breach by the vendor, where the organizer reasonably determines in good faith that continued participation is no longer appropriate for the festival. Reasons may include changes in event curation or operations, or material concerns affecting the suitability of the vendor’s participation or the trust and experience of the festival community. Decisions must comply with applicable law and may not be based on unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
The organizer will notify the vendor in writing as soon as reasonably practicable, identify the reservation being cancelled, and initiate a full refund of all amounts paid to the organizer for that cancelled reservation within 10 business days of the notice. This includes fees charged by the organizer for the affected tables and their associated add-ons. We will not deduct our payment-processing costs or the cost of promotion already provided. Any amount already refunded for the same reservation will be credited against the total refund.
Cancellation under this section is not a finding or admission that the vendor engaged in wrongdoing. The vendor is not required to admit fault or sign a release to receive a refund already owed under these terms.
Following cancellation, we will stop new promotion of the vendor as a participant and make reasonable efforts to update public vendor listings promptly. Previously distributed printed materials and third-party reposts may not be recoverable.
Separate signed sponsorship, activation, or workshop agreements are governed by their own cancellation provisions unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Cancelling a table reservation does not by itself cancel those separate agreements.
Festival cancellation and material changes
If a venue issue, emergency, or other circumstance requires a change to the festival, we will notify registered vendors by email as soon as reasonably practicable.
If the festival is cancelled before opening without an agreed replacement arrangement, we will initiate a full refund of amounts paid to us for the unfulfilled vendor reservation within 10 business days of the cancellation notice. Any credit or transfer to another event is optional and requires the vendor’s written agreement.
A change to the event date or venue, or a substantial reduction in scheduled selling hours, gives the vendor a choice to accept the revised arrangement or receive a full refund for the affected reservation. We will request written confirmation within 14 calendar days of notice. If you decline or do not affirmatively accept by that deadline, we will cancel the affected reservation and initiate the refund within 10 business days. We will not require you to participate in a changed event before you have accepted the revised arrangement.
If the festival is permanently stopped after opening, we will refund the table fee in proportion to the scheduled selling hours that were not provided, plus charges for add-on services not delivered, within 10 business days. This does not reduce any greater remedy required by applicable law.
Minor layout adjustments and routine operating instructions do not constitute a material change. The separate Premium-to-Regular refund still applies when relevant.
Refund processing and vendor expenses
Refunds will be initiated to the original payment method when available, or through another method agreed with the vendor. Bank or payment-provider processing may take additional time. We will provide written confirmation when a refund is initiated.
Vendors arrange their own travel, lodging, inventory purchases, and other expenses. Except as expressly agreed in writing or required by applicable law, the organizer does not undertake to reimburse those independent expenses or anticipated profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, violation of law, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. A refund is not, by itself, a release of other claims.
Transfers and shared tables
Reservations may not be sold, transferred, or shared with another business without the organizer’s prior written approval. Any replacement or additional business must be reviewed and approved before participating.
Insurance
Vendors must carry liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage, valid for the event date. Your Certificate of Liability Insurance is due by November 7, 2026. Submit it through the registration form, by replying to your acceptance email, or by emailing hello@fortheloveofpaperfest.com.
Uploading your certificate when you pay is optional. Having the required coverage and submitting acceptable proof by the deadline are mandatory.
Contact us before November 7 if you anticipate difficulty meeting this deadline. Vendors must provide acceptable proof of the required coverage before participating. We will communicate any additional venue insurance or endorsement requirements in writing; material new obligations require agreement under Changes to these terms.
Attendee giveaway contribution
Each vendor agrees to provide at least 50 complimentary items for attendee giveaway bags. These items must comply with the artwork, sourcing, and product-safety requirements below.
The organizer will provide collection instructions and a delivery deadline before the festival. Contact us promptly if you anticipate difficulty fulfilling this commitment. Any alternative arrangement requires written approval.
Participation requirements and policy enforcement
Vendors must provide accurate application and sourcing information and meet the requirements they accepted. If information, insurance documentation, or giveaway arrangements are incomplete, we will identify the issue and provide steps and a reasonable deadline to resolve it.
We may request supporting information, restrict particular products while reviewing a specific concern, or require noncompliant products to be removed. Where reasonably practicable, vendors will have an opportunity to respond and correct a curable issue before their reservation is cancelled. Contacting us does not automatically waive a requirement or extend its deadline.
We may suspend activity or remove a vendor or helper for a material violation of accepted terms, material misrepresentation, or conduct that threatens safety or substantially disrupts the event. Immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, serious misconduct, or a refusal to follow a lawful direction to stop prohibited sales or activity. We will provide a written explanation as soon as reasonably practicable.
For a cancellation under this section before opening, we will provide the same full refund and timing specified for organizer cancellation of an individual vendor reservation. For removal after opening, we will refund the table fee in proportion to the scheduled selling hours remaining, plus charges for add-on services not delivered, within 10 business days. We will not deduct penalties or disputed damages from these refunds. This does not waive a party’s right to pursue separately established losses through a lawful process.
When no violation has been established and the organizer instead decides to cancel participation before opening, the organizer cancellation provision applies. An allegation alone is not a determination that artwork is AI-generated, stolen, or otherwise unlawful.
Setup operating hours and breakdown
Follow the load-in, setup, operating, and breakdown schedule assigned to your business. Detailed instructions will be provided before the festival.
Your table must be ready by your assigned opening time and remain staffed during your assigned shopping hours. Early packing or departure requires organizer approval. If an emergency arises, notify the organizer as soon as possible.
Keep displays, merchandise, equipment, and storage within your assigned space. Walkways, doorways, and emergency exits must remain clear. Leave your space clean and remove your belongings at the end of the event.
Venue rules and conduct
Vendors and their helpers must follow venue rules and lawful, reasonable instructions from the organizer and hotel staff. Vendors are responsible for their helpers and for supervising merchandise, displays, materials, and equipment.
Treat attendees, fellow vendors, volunteers, and staff respectfully. Harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, intimidation, and deliberate interference with another business are prohibited. Good-faith criticism, reporting concerns, or requesting a refund is not itself misconduct.
Outside food and beverages require prior written approval from hotel management. Requests involving additional equipment, deliveries, or special setup arrangements must be coordinated with the organizer in advance.
Vendor promotion
Please reply to your acceptance email with a business photo and a short introduction for vendor announcements.
By submitting logos, photos, business descriptions, or other promotional materials, you give the organizer nonexclusive permission to use them to promote your participation in this festival. Only submit materials you own or have permission to share for this purpose. This permission does not transfer ownership of your materials.
Premium vendors receive the additional promotional benefits described in their approved table option. Promotion does not guarantee a particular level of reach, engagement, or sales. Following cancellation, promotional use is subject to the cancellation section above.
Sales and attendance expectations
We will promote the festival and participating vendors, but we do not guarantee individual sales, revenue, or a specific number of attendees. Entrance-area placement does not guarantee a particular amount of foot traffic or sales.
Artwork and AI policy
AI-generated artwork is not permitted at For the Love of Paper Fest. This includes artwork created entirely or partially using generative AI, including designs purchased from third parties or included on sourced merchandise. Ordinary non-generative tools for layout, cropping, color correction, or similar editing are not prohibited by this rule.
This policy applies to products offered for sale, displayed, or distributed as samples or giveaways, and to artwork submitted for festival vendor promotion. Unauthorized reproductions of another artist’s work are also prohibited.
Vendors must have the rights needed to sell, display, distribute, and submit their materials for the approved use. Purchasing a digital file, holding a business or seller’s permit, or receiving organizer approval does not by itself establish those rights. Fan art and branded or character merchandise remain subject to applicable intellectual-property rights.
Product sourcing and resale policy
Finished merchandise purchased from Temu, SHEIN, AliExpress, or similar mass-market retail marketplaces for resale is not permitted at For the Love of Paper Fest. Repackaging, relabeling, or dividing these products into bundles or scrap packs does not make them eligible. If you are unsure whether a source or product qualifies, obtain written approval before bringing it.
We welcome vendors’ original designs produced by manufacturing or printing partners, approved stationery retailers carrying inventory sourced from brands or authorized distributors, and sellers of genuine vintage or secondhand ephemera. These categories do not override the prohibition on unauthorized reproductions or AI-generated artwork.
Purchased craft supplies, blanks, and components must be disclosed in the application, along with how they will be used or sold. Any third-party fulfillment arrangement must also be disclosed and approved before the event. Approval of fulfillment does not permit otherwise prohibited products.
Vendors must accurately represent who designed and produced their merchandise and provide reasonable sourcing information upon request. Changes to the approved product category or a materially different product range require written approval before the event.
Product review and documentation
We may request product lists, supplier or brand information, invoices, commercial licenses, artist permissions, or available process records reasonably relevant to a specific review. We will explain the concern and provide a reasonable response deadline. Approval is limited to the products and information reviewed and is not a certification of legality or originality.
Vendors may redact unrelated financial details and personal information while preserving what is needed to verify the source and permission. Tell us if an agreement restricts disclosure so we can discuss reasonable alternative documentation. We will limit access to these records to people who need them for review, professional advice, or legal compliance, subject to our Privacy Policy and lawful disclosure obligations.
Unresolved concerns may result in particular items being withheld from sale while reviewed. Visual impressions and AI-detection scores alone will not be treated as conclusive proof of a violation. Refund and removal decisions follow the applicable cancellation and enforcement provisions above.
Permits product safety and customer transactions
Vendors are responsible for permits and registrations legally required for their activities, applicable taxes, lawful product labeling, product safety, and truthful descriptions. Provide evidence of required permits when reasonably requested; no permit is required solely because this paragraph mentions one if the law does not require it for your activities.
Each vendor handles its own customer transactions, receipts, fulfillment, product warranties, returns, and customer complaints. Vendors must clearly disclose their customer policies and comply with applicable law. Prohibited, counterfeit, recalled, or unsafe products may not be sold or distributed.
Vendors remain responsible for supervising their money, merchandise, and equipment. The organizer does not take custody of these items. This does not excuse a party’s own legally actionable conduct.
Your information
We collect business and contact information to manage vendor registration, payment, event communications, and participation requirements. Insurance documents are collected to verify coverage and may be shared with the venue as needed for approval. Sourcing documents are handled as described above.
Please review the Privacy Policy linked in the registration form for information about how personal information is handled.
Written notices and separate agreements
Send questions, cancellation requests, and other notices to hello@fortheloveofpaperfest.com or reply to your acceptance email. We will send notices to the email provided with your reservation. Keep your contact details current and notify us if you believe you have missed an event communication.
These terms, the acceptance email identifying your approved reservation, and any written changes agreed by both parties form the vendor agreement. An acceptance email identifies booking details but does not override these terms unless a change is expressly stated and accepted by both parties. A separate signed agreement controls the services it specifically covers where its terms conflict with this document.
Changes to these terms
We will identify the revision date for each version and retain a copy of the terms accepted with each reservation. Material changes to an existing reservation require the organizer’s and vendor’s express written agreement, including a recorded electronic acknowledgment. Merely updating a webpage, remaining silent, or having paid earlier does not constitute acceptance of new terms.
We may communicate reasonable logistical and safety instructions consistent with the accepted agreement and applicable law. That authority does not allow us to add a new cancellation right, fee, or other material obligation to an existing reservation without agreement. Declining a proposed amendment is not itself a breach of the existing agreement.
Governing law and unresolved concerns
California law governs this agreement, subject to any mandatory applicable law. Please contact us promptly about a concern so we can attempt to resolve it in good faith. This request does not waive legal rights, require arbitration, prevent a lawful report, or restrict access to a court or urgent relief.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. An exception approved in one instance does not automatically waive a requirement in another.
Acknowledgment
By completing the required acknowledgments and submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorized to act for the vendor and have read and agree to this version of the terms, including the cancellation and refund provisions, insurance requirement, contribution of at least 50 complimentary items, artwork and AI policy, product sourcing policy, and review requirements.
An already confirmed vendor accepts this revised version only through a separate written agreement identifying this revision and the affected reservation. Earlier payment alone is not acceptance of this revision.
For questions, reply to your acceptance email or contact hello@fortheloveofpaperfest.com.
